What the.......

Remember my first post when I wrote about the whole silver box theatre fiasco? Get this. I just received an e-mail from the PTA person at my son's school. Here is the post:

Saturday Night In The Suburbs:  This is a free program for adults on Monday, April 11th, from 7PM-8:30PM in the Silver Box Theater at South County Secondary School.  Join us for an evening of dialogue with a panel of senior students to discuss drugs, alcohol, parties, driving, sexting, and communication between teens and parents.

This will be an "eye-opening" and honest discussion. Even if you think your teen is behaving, come out and hear what pressures your child has or will have to deal with and what others are involved in! Knowledge is power, and prevention starts early.  Supported by Safe Youth Coalition and South County PTSO.

"Saturday Night in the Suburbs" apparently means "Monday Night in the Suburbs" because, well, we have already established that when it comes to the Virginia public education system, you cant assume anything is as it's stated. So it probably makes perfect sense that "Saturday" is really "Monday".

Don't even get me started on the whole "Silver Box Theatre" thing.

And my son is going to be raised in this environment? They can't even get the day of the week right? Seriously?
